He added that Reliance Jio will be the first company in the world to launch a mass scale 5G network with the ability to deliver 100GB of data per second. This will provide unprecedented speed and capacity for the development of connected devices, smart cities, digital health, and new applications in areas such as e-commerce and telemedicine.
In addition to delivering high-speed data, 5G will also enable the development of augmented reality and virtual reality. This will allow users to experience new, immersive experiences and applications on their smartphones. It will also enable businesses to connect with customers through a more personal, interactive and intuitive way.
Bharti Airtel CEO Sunil Mittal said that the launch of 5G is an important milestone for India and will bring a new energy to the country. He also said that India’s oldest private telecom operator will roll out the service in eight cities including four metros. He promised that the service will cover the entire country by March 2024.

Bharti Airtel’s demonstration showcased how the next-generation network can facilitate telemedicine by connecting doctors with patients.
